This will work with any pie dough recipe, or you can simply use the same dough recipe I posted with the Great Grandma’s Pumpkin Pie. Rollers are an old yet simple cinnamon and sugar pastry that go great with a cold glass of milk or a hot cup of coffee or tea. A nice way to use up any leftover dough and the kids will love them!
1 stick of softened butter
Sugar
Cinnamon
Roll out dough with rolling pin to the same thickness you would as if you were making a pie.
Spread dough with a stick of softened butter. Make a sugar and cinnamon mixture to your liking and sprinkle over butter. Roll it up lengthwise, cut into 1-1 ½ inch pieces. Bake on a cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
