8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup peanut butter (smooth)
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
8 ounces chocolate toffee bits (set some aside for topping)
5-7 granny smith apple slices (any apples will do)
Soften cream cheese. Mix the all ingredients together except chocolate toffee bits using an electric or stand mixer on medium to high speed until smooth. Fold in candy bits. Place mixture by spreading evenly in shallow dish. Sprinkle remaining candy bits on top. Serve with apple slices, pretzels, or graham crackers. Best at room temperature for dipping, but you can make ahead and store in refrigerator.
Our peanut butter-toffee-cream cheese-apple dip is unbelievably addicting! Trust us, you will have a hard time walking away from this heavenly snack, and it’s so delicious you will just want to grab a spoon and go to town. The peanut butter and cream cheese will have you thinking this might be a caramel dip, but we’ve fooled you. It’s Heath toffee bits. The crisp, tart flavor of our granny smith apples, with the slight sweetness of this dip, is a mouthwatering combination. Slice up some apples for dipping (any apples will do), or serve with graham crackers. Pretzels will work too, especially if you love the combination of sweet and salty! If you’re looking for a fall-inspired dessert, or an alternative to pie on Thanksgiving, this one is for you!
