Made From Scratch Dough, 4 Delicious Recipes!

We believe that most of us growing up had a family favorite recipe that quickly became a tradition, right? Today, Karen’s childhood friend, Lisa, was kind enough to share her mom’s “secret” family recipe for homemade dough. We spent the entire day in the kitchen learning how to make this delicious dough from scratch. To cook and taste yummy pizza view recipes on this page. Lisa’s Homemade Dough Recipe:  

This dough recipe can make  either 3 – 16″ pizzas, 10 pepperoni rolls, 30 -35 sandwich rolls or 40 -45 cinnamon rolls.  

12 cups flour

1/3 to a 1/2  cup sugar

3 packages dry yeast

4 cups lukewarm water

3 t. salt

3/4 cup vegetable oil

Directions:

Take 1 tablespoon of sugar & 1/4 cup of warm water, mix to dissolve sugar, then add the 3 packages of yeast.  Cover & let raise for a good 15 to 20 min. until the yeast is over flowing the bowl.

Take the four, sugar, and salt and mix thoroughly to create a well. Then take 4 cups of lukewarm water, the oil, and yeast & mix together. Continue to Knead until the dough is formed and does not stick to your hands.  Cover with a towel and let it rise for an hour.  Then punch down and knead again and let it rise for an additional hour.  

**Remember when making pepperoni rolls & buns to use an egg wash.  

Baking time for the pizza is 350 for 20 to 25 min. Then remove from pan, put directly on the rake and bake approx. 10 min. longer until browned on the bottom.

**The pepperoni rolls put 2 on a cookie sheet at once, bake at 350 for 30 – 35 min. or until throughly cooked.

**The buns at 350 for about 20 min. or golden brown

**Cinnamon rolls at 350 for about 35 min. or until done
