The time of year for campfires, football season kickoffs, and loads of crisp air, is here! We have food-related ideas to help you embrace Fall: it only takes four simple ingredients to make an instant crowd pleaser, S’mores Pops!
Marshmallows, chocolate, graham crackers and pretzel sticks or lollipop sticks are all you’ll need for our grab and go version of s’mores. Instead of making the traditional ones by the fire this season, try this simple and quick recipe that will have both kids and adults craving more.
They were the perfect complement to the dessert tent during the graduation party for Lauren’s niece, which was a country western backyard barbecue. Using her choco-maker, she melted Giannos’ Milk Chocolate.
While the chocolate was melting, she placed a pretzel stick into each marshmallow without poking entirely through the other side.
With help of a food processor, Lauren crushed her graham crackers, dipped each marshmallow into the chocolate and then into the graham crackers. The next step was simply lining a baking sheet with parchment paper for cooling and displaying on a festive serving tray or cake tower.
Made indoors in a few steps, these amusing S’mores Pops have all the campfire feeling without the campfire hazard!
To make S’mores Pops you will need the following:
•Pretzel Sticks or Lollipop Sticks

Our Visit Fall 2015
Nothing says Fall like a trip to the White House. White House Fruit Farms, that is! Though we are regular visitors at the farm throughout the year, fall is definitely our favorite season. Who could resist a crisp afternoon stroll through acres of pumpkins, gourds, and cornstalks galore. Beautiful baskets of mums, their glorious crowns blazing with color announce the fall season has arrived. The Farm Market is loaded with many must have treats and sweets too! Fresh fruits and vegetables, harvest jams, seasonal candies and teas are just a few of the goodies we loaded in our carts. And of course we couldn’t resist a box of White House signature donuts! Oh Blueberry, we do love you so!! Another house speciality, fresh homemade Apple Cider, was the absolutely perfect refreshment to wash it down. Seasonal decor is also in abundance at the Farm. We treated ourselves to a few handmade autumn wreaths that now dress up our front doors. The scents and colors of fall make this truly a festive season!
A special thanks to our featured friend and YouTuber for the month of November, Kaye Carter, for sharing photographs of her autumn decor #FFOTM. As you can see, Kaye does a wonderful job creating a warm welcome to her guests with plenty of seasonal decorative accents and accessories. Her welcoming statement begins with an inviting foyer, with decor presentation flowing throughout her home. The Fall Tablescape says,”Let’s celebrate the season with a good meal!”
Kaye finds most of her seasonal decor from places such as Dollar Tree, TJ Maxx, Michael’s, CVS, Walgreens, RiteAid, Bed, Bath & Beyond, and Target!
