Spice up your Super Bowl!
The hardest part about this recipe is keeping the bowl filled. If you are like us, you will find yourself pushing the bowl away, and then pulling it back. These not-so-ordinary pretzels are full of flavor and taste delish with a frosty cold beer! A classic Super Bowl snack.
2 16 oz. bags of Bavarian or Sourdough pretzels broken into bite-sized pieces
8 shakes garlic powder
8 shakes onion powder
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
6 chicken bouillon cubes, broken or 6 teaspoons of chicken flavored soup base
1 cup of oil (evoo or vegetable)
Stir garlic powder, onion powder, bouillon & cayenne pepper into oil & microwave to dissolve if using bouillon cubes. Pour over broken pretzels in a large bowl & stir or shake to coat.
Store in a ziploc bag or serve immediately. (We prefer them the next day).
* For extra flavor we used only 1 bag of pretzels along with all of the same ingredients and then baked at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Serve Immediately.
