Like many of us, we don’t always have the time or means to get to the spa for a facial. We searched for homemade face mask recipes on Pinterest and found these two that we had to try. Pamper yourself at home with ingredients right from your refrigerator or pantry. A natural and healthy way to glowing skin!
Avocado Face Mask (For Oily Skin)
Deeply cleanses and
nourishes the skin, refines enlarged pores
2 Tbsp. mashed avocado
1 Tbsp. honey
1 Tbsp. yogurt
2 Tbsp. mashed cucumber
Mash the avocado pulp and the cucumber in a food processor. Add the honey and the yogurt and mix all the ingredients together until smooth. Apply to face and neck, avoiding the eye area, and leave it on for 15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. To make the mask cool and refreshing prior to use, I covered and refrigerated for about half hour. You may use this avocado mask once a week.
Anne Hathaway’s Gorgeous Skin Face Mask
Tightens skin. provides natural exfoliation and helps to heal the skin.
2 Tablespoons of honey
1 Tablespoon of water
Mash banana, then add honey and water. Mix well.
Apply to face and let sit for 20 min. I find that it works best to lie down. The mask will slide off if not.
Wash your face then apply your moisturizer.
