Diptyque was established in 1961 by three friends; Christiane Gautrot, an interior designer, Desmond Knox-Leet, a painter, and Yves Coueslant, a theater director and set designer.  The creative passion of these three friends evolved into producing a high-end line of scented candles that was introduced in 1963, which quickly became the main focus of their business.  Then, in 1968, they produced their first unisex eau de toilette fragrance, L’Eau L’Eau.  Today Diptyque has over 50 scented candles in their home fragrance collection, as well as room sprays and diffusers.  There are numerous personal fragrances that appeal to both men and women along with a sophisticated line of skin and body care items.  Whether you are new to fragrances or a bit of a perfume snob, you must give this unique brand a try.  We are certain that you will find your signature scent as each fragrance wears differently.
