Carolina Herrera Good Girl Perfume Here

One thing House of Herrera is known for is effortless elegance. The Good Girl Perfume is a masterclass in that art. Both freshly light and moodily dark, this fragrance captures feminine complexity with astounding ingredients.

Karen received this perfume for her birthday. Her first reaction? Something in the line of: Oh, the shoe! A quick glance at the shoe-shaped bottle and she was sold. But is not just about the looks, this fragrance from the floral family smells just as good.

Made with keynotes of tuberose, jasmine, and Tonka beans, Good Girls sits in the category of warm florals. Think masculine meets feminine: a sweet, sensual, and sexy scent. Karen loves that it lasts long and draws lots of compliments. This fragrance screams: Hello sexy!

She also loves to keep this bottle out on display, as any shoe lover would. In fact, if you are looking for a gift to a fellow shoe lover look no further. This perfume won’t let you or your friend down. The ground-breaking bottle speaks as eloquently of the power and dualism of modern femininity as the fragrance itself.

Interesting enough, this has become Karen’s new signature scent. The wise Carolina Herrera stated that, if you give a girl the right shoe, she can conquer the world. The Good Girl fragrance leaves us thinking that quote also works for perfume.

MAC Cosmetics Bold & Bad Lash Mascara HERE

Calling all multitaskers! MAC Cosmetics Bold & Bad Lash Mascara is a dual-chamber mascara that has a brush for upper lashes, and a brush for lower lashes. The best part? There is a different formula for each brush.

The keywords may be basic – brazen, bold, bad – but the attention our lashes get with this product is far from basic. Described as the ultimate product to create a 360-degree lash look from top to bottom, this mascara has a great color and it comes in a super cute packaging.

Lauren purchased this mascara because she’s a huge fan of thick, voluminous lashes also she took a microblading training which helped her have more eyelashes. However, she felt it gave more of a natural look with more length than volume. No biggie: she did add a few coats to build up her lashes for more volume. Each coat went on evenly with no clumping or fall out, which is always good.

Time to break down the product: the larger brush delivers volume to the top, while the smaller brush creates smudge-proof definition to the bottom. Obviously, this means she uses the larger brush for upper lashes and the smaller brush for lower lashes.

In fact, the tiny brush included for the bottom lashes is Lauren’s favorite thing about this mascara because it enables her to master the lower lashes with ultimate precision, by getting into the inner and outer corners of the eye. You know that hard to reach lashes that are almost impossible to stroke? The brush separates the lashes well and gives a beautiful look to the lower lashes.  This is definitely not your average mascara!

Caramel Apple Martini

1.5 oz Butterscotch Schnapps (3 Tablespoons/1 shot glass)
1.5 oz Sour Apple Pucker (3 Tablespoons/1 shot glass)
1 oz Tito’s Vodka (2 Tablespoons/ 3/4 shot glass)

Place all ingredients over ice in cocktail shaker. Drizzle martini glass with caramel sauce, then pour!

Fall days ask for sweet treats. After all, who doesn’t love to sink their teeth into a crisp and sticky caramel apple? Honestly, we can’t get enough of this traditional and classic Fall treat, so it’s no surprise that we would enjoy a cocktail infused with the same flavors, a Caramel Apple Martini! But I was beginning to get concerned of the amount of sweet dishes I was consuming. I felt ominous of an awaiting Perth dental treatment, and so, had to stop consuming sweets for the rest of the day.

Practical girls, we love recipes that are both simple and delicious. Follow our steps and enjoy a cozy cocktail that will warm you right up!

The ingredients represent our favorite Autumn flavors at their best: Butterscotch Schnapps that are sweet as candy; and Sour Apple Pucker that sort of tastes like a Granny Smith Apple. You’ll feel a burst of sweetness followed by a mouth-puckering sour taste.

Simply add your favorite vodka. Yes, any type will do. Drizzle your glass with a smooth, creamy, and delicious ooey gooey caramel sauce. Then, pour it into your Martini Glass and serve.

We think of this as the ultimate fall & festive inspired cocktail, where sour and sweetness are perfectly balanced. This is the textbook choice for your next fall party, holiday, or girls’ night out. Not that you need excuses to treat yourself with one of these!

Your 2 Orchids have so much fun when it comes to seasonal or holiday tablescapes! It’s our excuse to be a little (sometimes a lot, we confess) creative. Who can blame us? Every holiday or special event gives us the opportunity to change settings and test different ideas.

Take it from us: when shopping, look for flexible items that you can re-purpose or incorporate into any occasion. Just in case! The secret is to think of your table as a blank canvas, but – and this is the best advice we can give – have a color palette in mind of what you want to use. For example, on both of our tablescapes, we went for something we could easily transition from Fall/Thanksgiving right into Holiday/Christmas.

The pieces we used have texture, versatility, and colors that represent each theme. As you can see from the photos, we used the same table runner and the same stands for both tablescapes. It’s all about re-purposing.

It helps if you find the wow factor for the event. Still, most of the work will be trial and error.  For instance, swap the pumpkins for Christmas trees, harvest fillers for Christmas bulbs. Keep in mind that items like pine cones can work for both holidays.

No need to worry about big budgets either. It can be as easy as finding accessories from around your home that will reflect the theme you are trying to create. Think decor items, leaves, branches, and pine cones from your yard. The Dollar Store is another perfect option where you can get a lot of bang for your buck without breaking the bank.

Candles are always a nice detail since they add that subtle touch that turns a house into a home. Just remember if you are serving dinner you may want to light unscented candles to avoid interfering with the aroma of the delicious meal you prepared.
